A while back I talked about ways to workout at home, seriously there is some great content out there, yoga, HITT, cardio, and I still would recommend that stuff to anyone who is looking to get into fitness. But what was hard for me was not really knowing what I should be doing to achieve the results I wanted. I’m the type of person that needs a plan, and detailed step by step program to keep me on track and help me achieve my goals and I found it!
I’m talking about the Nike Training Club App !
The bf actually introduced me to this app, I’ve been using it for a month now and I am really loving it!
Not only does the app offer workouts of the week which include everything from a short 7 minute core workout to a 30 minute full body workout, you can also build an entire 4 week program specific to your needs and skill level. You can choose from Get Lean (high interval cardio drills), Get Tone (light weights and intervals), Get Strong (increased weights and reps) and Get Focused (15-minute workouts to target specific areas). As for skill you can choose from beginner, intermediate and advanced.
I chose the Get Lean Beginner, because I was not trying to kid myself and I’ll tell you what it was good that I didn’t. The drills include one 30 minute and one 45 minute session per week, they are doable but they are definitely a pretty good workout, I was sore the next day. You can also add running to your program, I chose this because I am really trying to up my running game.
Overall I have been really happy with the program, it’s built a daily workout schedule that I can easily follow and take with me wherever I got! Plus, I have already started to feel and see some results, so I’m excited to continue with the program! I will be moving up to the Get Lean Intermediate next, pray for me! Lol!
I would highly recommend the Nike Training Club app, it’s been one of the best (free) workout programs I have tried in a long time.
