Now, I don’t know from personal experience but they say the being a mother is one of the most rewarding yet demanding jobs out there! I couldn’t agree more! With five kids, my Mom was a chef, chauffeur, nurse, teacher, seamstresses, housekeeper and so much more! Honestly, I don’t know how she did it all without losing her mind! Or one of us, five kids is a lot! Not to mention we all weren’t exactly little angels.

To show your Mama some gratitude for putting up with your shenanigans, here are a few of my favorite finds that I’m sure she or any Mama would love!

As a beauty blogger me and my love for makeup brushes is just as deep as my love for actual makeup. But with so many high end brushes out there I am always on the hunt for something a little more affordable because spending $50 on one brush gives me some serious buyers remorse! Ja feel?!…

So when I started venturing into the world of affordable makeup brushes such as Real Techniques, I was actually presently surprised to discover that the e.l.f. studio line of brushes had even more affordable options and were just as great as some high end brushes I’ve tried.

This past Valentine’s Day I wanted to get my hands on a lip color that would last through the night! I also wanted something that was going to be comfortable to wear, I am not a fan of matte lips and a stain just wasn’t the pigmentation I was looking for. So while I was browsing Walgreen’s I grabbed one of the last Rimmel Provocalips they had. I guess it was a popular item that day 😉 I mean it does claim to be kiss proof!

To be honest, I wasn’t really excited by the product. I had tried something similar from another brand many years ago and it was a disaster. Plus I suffer from really dry lips, like I carry 5 chapsticks with me and can’t go a day without it dry lips, so me and long wearing lip products just don’t go. But I had heard good things about these so I thought I’d give it a shot.

Budget Buy: Everyday Minerals Itahake Brush

Typically I’m a natural contour kinda gal, so brushes like the NARS Ita Brush just never really appealed to me, I just didn’t like that really strong contour look. But I was wanting to achieve somewhat of a precise countor, if that makes any sense. So after reading the entire internet, I found the Everyday Minerals Itahake Brush .

Really, I  wanted the Ita Brush but I just could not bring myself to spend $55 on one single brush!
