A week ago today, I turned 32! Getting older is crazy,  when I say to myself ” I have been alive for 32 years” that is a long time! Lol! I mean if someone told you the have been married for 32 years you would be like “Damn!”

I remember when I was 15 my plan was to be married and have at least 2 kids by time I was 25, which is crazy to think now because when I was 25 I did not have my entire life figured out yet! And I still don’t but who does? Now, I take it one day at a time and try not to stress too much about the future because what I thought the future would hold for me when I was 15 is nothing like I have now, it’s better!

But it wasn’t always that way..

The official first day of summer is this Sunday and even though it’s going to be 115 degrees today I am really looking forward to summer this year. Aside from the usual tubing down the Salt River and hanging by the pool, I have so much more I want to accomplish. The good things is that our summers are long, so I have plenty of time to try and do it all!

Here are a few fun things I am hoping to get done over the next few months.

I cannot tell a lie, I am not a morning person in the least! I’ve read articles on how to become a morning person and while I’ve incorporated a few tips, like going to bed earlier I have come to terms with the fact that I will never be that person with a pep in her step at 6am. That is just not who I am! #sorrynotsorry

But I do have to get up so today I thought I would share my morning routine with you!

This was by far one of the busiest weekends we have had in a while! Friday we headed out to Mazies Cafe & Bistro for dinner, if you live in the Phoenix area definitely check them out.

I really wanted the meatloaf but they were out of mashed potatoes and I mean you can’t have meatloaf without mashed potatoes! So instead I got a burger drowned in feta, it was amazing!

And the weekend just kept on going!

Our temps are slowly creeping up to those 90’s, two weeks ago it was 94! I look forward to the Summer every year, I love it! But I’m actually kind of sad that our Spring is almost over.. This season was really great and that got me thinking about all the things I really loved about Spring.

So today I though I’d share the 10 things I love/loved about Spring this year!
