Game Changer – Clarisonic Mia 2

8

So ever since the very first Clarisonic came out I was like “do I need this?” “is it worth the price?” “does it really work?” I was so back and forth because $100 can be a lot of money to spend if you’re on a budget or just cheap like me #noshame

And then of course they just got bigger, better, smarter and more expensive.

BUT…I got the Clarisonic Mia 2 for my birthday this year and well…game changer!

So let’s get into the questions I had and you may still have if you are thinking about investing in a Clarisonic.

Do I Need This? If I’m being 100% honest, No! You don’t need this, I was doing just fine with my normal skincare routine. But on the flip side, my skin has never really been problematic. I don’t have crazy breakouts or acne, just a bit of dry patches, blackheads and large pores. Nothing out of the ordinary.

But, if you do have major skin concerns like, extremely clogged pores, are prone to breakouts/acne etc. this may be a good investment, as this is clinically proven to clean 6X better than hands alone.

Speaking of investment..

Is It Worth The Price? As I said, mine was a gift, but now that I have had a chance to use it on a daily basis for the past three months, I would say yes.

The Clarisonic’s range from $99-$265, plus you are looking at an additional $27 for replacement brush heads every three months. So while it’s hella pricey, in my opinion it’s worth it.

If you’re gong to take the plunge, I feel the Clarisonic Mia 2 is the best bargain. It has the timed pulsing, two speeds, it’s smaller and does more than enough to make a difference in your skin. But if you want to check out the latest release, check out my blogger friend Alina’s post all about the SMART profile .

Does It Really Work? YES! I have been using mine for 3 months now and I have notice a a big change in my skin. But probably the biggest that I had not even noticed before was the texture of my skin. Lately my skin is a lot more smoother and even which has made my makeup look so much better. I’ve also noticed that my skin is softer, definitely more radiant and that my pores have become a lot less noticeable!

Note: There are a variety of different brushes but I use the sensitive brush for combo skin daily and the deep pore cleansing and reducing brush once a week.

Overall I have been really happy with my Clarisonic, it’s made a difference in skin that I didn’t even know was possible! I also love that the device itself is super low maintenance, it’s waterproof holds a charge for quite a while and the brush head only needs to be cleaned once a week! Bonus, you don’t even need a special cleaner, just soap and warm water! I use baby shampoo :)

If you were thinking about getting a Clarisonic, I hope you found this helpful! If you have any more questions, leave them down below! I would be more than happy to answer them!

I’m also quite cheap, I can’t really buy something more than 100$ when it comes to beauty tools and cosmetics. I really want to try this, just have to save money for it.

I have wanted a clarasonic for the longest time, but haven’t been able to justify the price especially because my skin is not problematic. However, in the last few weeks my skin has not been the best so maybe I need to find a NZ stockist.

It’s definitely a pricey item especially if you don’t have major skin concerns but I feel like this has really helped my skin stay that way too!
